Questions newsrooms ask us
Short answers about what Veruno does, where its data comes from and what it will never do.
What Veruno is
Veruno gathers the groundwork for checking a claim: other coverage of the story, earlier fact-checks, the source's public registry record and where an image appeared before. Your team collects the evidence on a shared board and exports a PDF report.
It does not decide whether a claim is true or false, does not rate sources and does not publish anything. Results are signals for triage, not a verdict.
Veruno helps you decide what to check first and where to look. It labels every signal and its source. The judgement, and what you publish, stays with you.
Data
News from a news search service; web results from a web search service; published fact-checks from fact-check databases; domain records from RDAP registry lookups; image matches and the AI generation estimate from image analysis services. Written report sections come from an AI model, based on the article and the retrieved material. The services are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Veruno shows it as not available. It never guesses or fills a gap with invented data.
Images and video
It is a probability, an indicator and not proof. Treat it as one signal among your other checks.
Yes. Your browser takes 8 frames spread evenly across the video and only those frames are checked for signs of AI generation. The video itself is not uploaded.
Plans and languages
Basic is 20 USD a month, for individual use with 1 seat. Advanced (90 USD a month) and Pro (250 USD a month) are for organizations: unlimited seats sharing the monthly tokens; Pro adds priority support and an onboarding call. Custom is for high volume or special needs, with a tailored allowance, annual invoicing and team training; contact us for it. Every plan includes all modules, a guided tour and email support. Annual billing costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free.
The public website is available in English, Romanian and French. The platform itself is in English for now.
